This is an easy exercise to do to calm and center yourself
when things get too hectic.It can focus
you when your thoughts are too chaotic to control.
You can do this in your office, at home, or even in the car - as long as you do it before you start the car.
Sit square in your seat - do not rest on the edge.Keep your back straight and both feet flat on
the floor.Close your eyes and quietly
count down from 10, breathing deeper as you count.
Then inhale deeply through you nose.
Once you reach the point where you feel you have
inhaled as deeply as you can hold it for a count of 3 - 5 seconds, then
exhale.
