At certain times, life becomes too hectic.  There just seems to be too many people wanting you or your attention or action.  While these obligations can't be avoided you can strengthen yourself to handle them in clear and confident manner.  It's all a matter of tuning out. 


Tuning out means taking a few minutes (at least 15 minutes) a day and being your own company.  Take the phone off the hook, walk away from your cell phone, don't look or even think about your computer and put down the remote; they can't help you.  Sit outside or in a cozy chair/recliner, rest on your bed.  The point is you are relaxing and not occupying your mind with your to-do list, worries or anxieties.   Think of it as a reboot.  You can emerge clear with a different perspective and energized.
